36. International Exlibris Congress, Vologde-Rusya
Turkish arstist's great success in the Ex-libris Congress (FISAE). In this year 6 Turkish artist joined the competition which is called "International Exlibris Competition on Varna". The Turkish Exlibris artists; Ayşe Anıl, Ayşen Erte, Canan Bilge, Esra Kizir Gökçen, Münevver Cillov and Nazan Sönmez who is published the catalogue of the competition.

Ex-libris Congress (FISAE) will be held in the exhibition halls of the Vologda Art Gallery. Our National Society of Ex-libris and Graphic Arts Amateurs together with the staff of the Vologda Art Gallery has great experience concerning the organization of such events: we have already hosted four All-Russian Ex-libris Congresses.
Founded in 1147, Vologda is the administrative, cultural and scientific centre of the Vologda Region. Vologda belongs to the cities with the particularly valuable historical heritage. It is one of the biggest Russian cities where the stone buildings, situated beside the examples of the wooden architecture, reveal wonderful harmony. Vologda has more than 200 historical and architectural monuments of the national importance.
The population of Vologda is more than 300 000 people. The city is the cultural centre of the Russian North which is located 500-650 kilometres between Moscow and St Petersburg (460 km from Moscow, about 658 km from St Petersburg). The outstanding masterpieces of the old Russian architecture: the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and the Ferapontov Monastery with the frescoes by Dionysius are situated 120 kilometres from the city.
Being the cultural capital of the Russian North, Vologda is always ready to receive the guests of the city, to provide them with all necessary services, to give them a chance to feel the atmosphere of the unique individuality, traditions and hospitality.
